Stephen Buckley, MD, began practicing gynecologic oncology in Jacksonville in 1995. In 2008, he was presented the Healthcare Hero Award, for epitomizing the word "hero" in the delivery of health care to the community. He provides personal and dedicated care to each patient’s medical needs. His areas of special interest include:

About Me
I could not imagine doing anything else. I like taking care of people. I treat all my patients with great detail and individualized personal care. I also believe in communication- communication with the patient and communication with other physicians. Talking to the patient is an essential key to making them feel comfortable, which is what I love to do. I make sure to take the time with each patient and make sure they understand their diagnosis; feel comfortable and know that they are in good hands
I am originally from Western Kentucky and am now settled here in Jacksonville with my wife of many years, and three children. Outside of the practice I enjoy being outside, travelling, and living by the beach. My hobbies include playing tennis and cruising on my motorcycle. Since living in Jacksonville, I have become a die-hard Jaguars fan, Go Jags!
