Kevin Kaplan, MD, completed a fellowship in orthopedic sports medicine at the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic, Los Angeles. During his fellowship, he assisted the head team physician in the orthopedic care of the 2009 World Champion Los Angeles Lakers. His areas of expertise include:

About Me

Outside of my office, I am the head team physician for the NFL Jacksonville Jaguars. I also work as a team physician with the Arena League Jacksonville Sharks, Jacksonville University, the University of North Florida and several local high schools. Prior to moving to Jacksonville, I have served as an assistant team physician for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Kings, Los Angeles Sparks, Anaheim Ducks, and Loyola Marymount University.

I have been trained in cutting-edge minimally invasive joint surgery for the shoulder, elbow, hip and knee, as well as in joint preserving and reconstructive procedures of the shoulder and elbow.
