Our team is skilled in many sub-specialties to assess and treat the full spectrum of neurological issues, with special focus in stroke, cerebrovascular care, minimally invasive spine surgery and neuro-oncology.
State-of-the-art technology and facilities
Four floors of the Wayne and Delores B. Weaver Tower are dedicated to the care of neurological patients, including an advanced neurosurgical suite with intraoperative MRI and CT capabilities, a 12 bed neuro ICU and two 24 bed units for medical and surgical neurological care. The first hospital in North America to have surgical suites equipped with Buzz Digital OR, software which puts 3D images of a patients brain and spine at the doctor's fingertips by way of a 42 inch HD touchscreen during neurosurgery.
The Institute's programs are staffed by medical teams with extensive, specialized training and experience in their particular area of expertise. Many members are internationally recognized as leaders in their fields. Each team takes a comprehensive approach to care, resulting in excellent medical outcomes that also give patients the best possible experience.
