At Baptist Health, Dr. Stein is Chair of the Patient Safety Improvement Committee, Co-Chair of the Institutional Review Committee and Co-Chair of the Health Information Management Committee. He also serves as Managing Editor of Vital Signs, Baptist Health's medical staff magazine.
Keith L. Stein, MD, FCCM, FCCP, serves as the Chief Medical Officer and Senior Vice President for Medical Affairs and Clinical Effectiveness for Baptist Health. Prior to his current role, he was Vice President of Clinical Effectiveness for Baptist Health. Before joining Baptist Health, he served as a Physician Executive and Senior Clinical Consultant for Computer Sciences Corporation Healthcare/APM, Inc. in New York City.
Dr. Stein, a graduate of the Leadership Jacksonville Class of 2003 and a Rotarian, is a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians, as well as a Fellow of the American College of Critical Care Medicine. He has served as Chair of the Critical Care Network and Chair of the Council of Networks of the American College of Chest Physicians, and has been a member of the Board of Directors of that national organization. In 2006, he was named among the Marquis Who's Who In America and was listed in the Consumers Research Council of America's Guide to America's Top Physicians.
