Baptist Medical Center is currently looking to add an Invasive Cardiology Technologist to our Heart Center at Baptist Jacksonville located in Jacksonville, FL. This is a Full-time, day shift opportunity working Monday through Friday with four 10-hour shifts from 6:30am to 5:00pm and every 4th weekend with one night of call a week. The RCIS must be obtained within 6 months of hire. Cert Req: RCES (Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist) is an acceptable certification for BSP0259 only.

As a Invasive Cardiology Technologist you will be responsible for: 

  • Prepares Cath Lab for acceptance of cardiac patients.
  • Performs technical duties including scrubbing and hemodynamic monitoring and recording of diagnostic and interventional procedures (cardiac cath, PTCA, stent, atherectomy, peripherals.)
  • Performs technical duties such as scrubbing and hemodynamic monitoring/recording for EP procedures, RF ablations and pacemakers/ICDs.
  • Assists with monitoring and care of patient as directed.
  • License/Certification Note: A Radiology Tech License or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Technologist in Cardiac-Interventional Radiography ARRT (CI) is required.

  • Experience working at another hospital

License and Certification

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
  • Registered Technologist in Cardiac-Interventional Radiography ARRT (CI) Required Or
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist ARRT Required Or
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Required Or
  • Licensed Radiologic Technologist Required Or
