Job Summary

Biometric Screener - Corporate Health, PRN (as needed) -- NOT FULL/PART TIME

Our team is looking for friendly, health-conscious individuals to join our PRN biometric health screening team. Screeners are responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience at on-site corporate events, mostly located within Northeast Florida (travel is provided and/or reimbursed for local and out-of-area events). Screeners will conduct biometric screening exams including measurements for height, weight, blood pressure, and a finger stick for glucose and cholesterol. After collecting these measurements, screeners will provide a brief coaching session for participants, helping them to identify short-term goals and lifestyle changes to improve their health. Special projects and other duties may be available based on the screener’s experience and expertise.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide biometric screening at client worksites including finger stick blood collection, blood pressure, height/weight/waist measurements, health coaching and other health screening services
• Provide brief health coaching consultation based on individual screening results
• Provide outstanding customer service
• Input data – Basic computer knowledge
• Participate in training and continuing education as needed
• Comply with all safety policies and procedures in the work area, including the use of protective equipment when necessary
• Follow quality assurance procedures and policies
• Maintain all HIPAA and OSHA standards
• Perform other related duties as necessary

Required Work Experience
• 1 year customer-facing work experience

Preferred, but not required:
• Bilingual English/Spanish
• Health/medical screening experience (blood pressure measurements, body composition analysis, finger stick administration, etc.)
• Health and wellness knowledge and coaching experience

Work and Physical Conditions/Requirements:
• Biometric screenings typically take place at a worksite in a conference or meeting room
• Travel is required to screening event locations and will be reimbursed or provided. Ability to travel within the greater Jacksonville area is required. Ability to travel out of area is preferred, but not required. Meals, hotel, travel, etc. is provided or reimbursed for out of area events.
• Lift light to moderately heavy objects. Normal performance duties may require lifting and carrying objects up to 40 pounds.

Education Required

High School Diploma/GED

Education Preferred

Associate's Degree


  • 1 year customer-facing work experience
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
  • Health/medical screening experience preferred (blood pressure measurements, body composition analysis, finger stick administration, etc.) 
  • Health and wellness knowledge and coaching experience preferred

License and Certification

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
