Job Summary
Baptist Health is looking to add an EP Device Technician to support the Electrophysiology/Cardiology department to support our EP Device Clinics. This is a Full-Time Days opportunity working Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
This employee will need to travel to other nearby locations based on the needs each day. There are 9 total EP Device Clinics. This team works very closely together and is tight-knit with great comraderie, working with the same 9 providers at all times. This candidate must be experienced with implementation of Cardiac devices.
The main responsibilities of the EP Device Technician will be to:
- Work under the Cardiologist direction and supervision
- Perform 'live' and 'clinical' TTM service for patients requiring special assistance of Pacemakers
- Submit billing encounter forms for each patient
- Maintain transmitter and remote communicator inventory as we as ensures exam rooms and equipment are in working order and in clean condition, and that supplies are present.
- May be required to provide cross coverage for phones.

Experience
- Monitor Technician Experience Required OR Medical Assistant Experience Required
License and Certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
