Job Summary

Baptist Health is looking for a Hospital Housekeeper to join our Baptist Medical Center Nassau, Environmental Services team. This position is a full-time opportunity, required to work either the 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM shift or the 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM shift, and with rotating weekends and holidays. The Hospital Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our patients, visitors, and staff. 

Hospital Housekeeper Responsibilities:

  • Performs a variety of cleaning duties as assigned. Including janitorial and custodial services.
  • Sweeps, mops, dusts, and sanitizes a variety of areas including but not limited to offices, bathrooms, patient rooms, non-patient areas, procedure rooms, common waiting areas, etc.
  • Maintains all cleaning supplies in accordance to OSHA requirements.
  • Maintains friendly and professional attitude.
  • Always follows safety and security protocols.
  • May perform other duties as required.
