Baptist Health is looking to add a Medical Assistant to our Cardiology department at Baptist Jacksonville Sleep Center. This is a Full-Time opportunity.

The ideal candidate performs computer order/entry, phlebotomy and EKG procedures, and has excellent customer service skills. This is a fast-paced center, so experience is strongly preferred.

Medical Assistant Job Responsibilities:

• Provides medical assistance to physicians

• Obtains vital signs

• Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit

• Maintains medical documentation

• Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician

• Processes prescription requests and referrals

Experience Requirements:

• 2+ years Patient Care Experience

• Experience in Physician's office

Education & Credential Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED Required

• Associate of Arts/Science Preferred

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required

• Certified Medical Assistant Preferred
