Baptist Health is looking to add a Medical Assistant in our Primary Care Department at Baptist Primary Care Ponte Vedra Family Practice in Ponte Vedra, Florida. This opening is a full-time opportunity.
This position is for the Baptist Primary Care Ponte Vedra Family Practice office. This position is for back office. The experienced candidate will perform back office Medical Assistant duties, such as rooming patients, assisting new provider and obtaining vitals.
As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Provides nursing assistance to physician
- Obtains vital signs
- Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit
- Maintains medical documentation
- Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician
- Processes prescription requests and referrals

- 2 years Patient Care Experience

License and Certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
