Evaluate and treat patients in an adult acute care, hospital inpatient setting. Caseload includes various diagnoses - neurological, orthopedic, cardiac, and general medical. Provide minimal outpatient care, mainly for neuro patients and upper extremity wounds (job competency training available). Prefer hand therapy and splinting experience. Work in a team environment with other Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, and Speech-Language Pathologists. Provide ongoing patient and family education. Work with multidisciplinary teams outside of Rehab Services � hospitalists, physician specialists, nursing, and social services.
