Job Summary

We are looking for an Emergency Department Technicain to join our Emergency Department team at Baptist Beaches in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full time nights position in the Emergency Department at our beaches campus. As an Paramedic for Baptist Health you will: 

  • Assist RNs in the Emergency Department in the care of patients with healthcare needs including activities of daily living, maintaining a safe environment, collecting lab specimens, intake and output monitoring, and electronic medical record documentation.
  • Work under the supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN).

Education Required

High School Diploma/GED

Education Preferred

High School Diploma/GED

Experience

  • 1 year Hospital Experience
  • 1 year Trasnport Medicine Setting Experience
  • 1 year Patient Care Experience

License and Certification

  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Incident Command system (ICS) 300, 400
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • Licensed Registered Paramedic
