Job Summary

Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Radiation Therapist in our Radiation Therapy Department at Baptist MD Anderson. This is a PRN opportunity with various shifts.

The Radiation Therapist duties include but are not limited to:

  • Working with cancer patients of all ages delivering highly precise and closely monitored doses of radiation
  • Machine warm ups
  • Equipment and patient set-ups
  • Assisting with the simulation process, peer review, and delivering the highest standards of care to patients
  • The RTT operates multiple units of highly technical equipment for patient setups, treatment planning, and actual daily treatments.
  • These individuals must have the capability of making independent judgment, compassionate, caring and good communication skills with all customers.

  • 1-2 years Radiation Therapy Experience

License and Certification

  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist ARRT
  • Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT)
