Job Summary
Provides for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement; organization; supervision of care provided by supportive personnel and coordination of care provided by ancillary services. Including patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care. Education of patients/SO/families to their disease process and plan of care. Responsible for providing patient care throughout the Baptist system on multiple units. *Diploma Nurses must have 5+ years of progressive care.
Requirements:
2 years of ED Experience Required
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Ability to be flexible and float between 4 Baptist hospitals and Freestanding ED's (Clay, Town Center, Oakleaf, North, Dunn, Beaches, Downtown, and South)

- 2 years Emergency Department Experience
License and Certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- NIH Stroke Scale Certification Preferred
- Licensed Registered Nurse Required
