Registered Nurse, Pediatric Diabetes Coordinator Lead, Full-Time, Wolfson Children's Hospital

Job Summary

Wolfson Children's Diabetes Center is looking for a Pediatric Diabetes Coordinator Lead to join our team!  This is a Full-Time position from Monday-Friday

This role is responsble for being a part of the diabetes education team and providing ongoing education and support to the patients and families of the Pediatric Diabetes Center in the setting of the hospital and the clinic.

As a Pediatric Diabetes Coordinator Lead you will be responsible for:

• Collaborate with Nemours and the hospital staff to develops treatment plans specific to each individual patients needs
• Support the manager by supervising the department, developing policies and procedures, & by developing efficent workflows
• Develop tand managing the schedule for the clinic
• Manage the CMS Grant, Payroll, be the point person for ADA and JDRF
• Facilitate training on insulin pumps with vendors
• Work with manager on budget & revenue reports

Education Required

Bachelor's Degree - Nursing

Education Preferred

Master's Degree - Nursing

Experience

• Acute Patient Care Experience Required
• Program Coordination (Development, Execution, and Maintenance) Experience Required
• Clinical Inpatient Nutrition Care Experience Required

License and Certification

• Certified Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Licensed Registered Nurse Required
