Job Summary

Baptist Health is looking to add a Stroke Coordinator to our Team at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville. This is a full time days shift opportunity.

As a Stroke Coordinator:

  • You will work in a multi-disciplinary team to ensure superior quality, timeliness and effectiveness of stroke care delivery in the Baptist Health System.
  • You will be responsible for program assessment, planning, organization, implementation, performance improvement, staff, pre-hospital and patient/family/community education.

Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville earned its Joint Commission Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center status in June of 2017. It is part of a larger health system, made up of several Primary Stroke Centers and Acute Stroke Ready Centers.

Education Required

Bachelor's Degree - Nursing

Education Preferred

Master's Degree - Nursing

Experience

  • 1-2 years Stroke Experience Required
  • 1-2 years Neuro Experience Required

License and Certification

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required
  • Stroke Certified Registered Nurse (SCRN) Required Or
  • Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurse (CNRN) Required Or
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
  • Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL) Preferred Or
  • Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Preferred Or
  • Licensed Registered Nurse Required
