Job Summary

As a Sr. IRB Analyst, you will be responsible for: 


  • Process and assign incoming submissions.
  • Track studies in need of renewal and follow-up.
  • Regularly communicate with research teams.
  • Prepare and assign submitted materials to reviewers and address follow-up questions.
  • Coordinate, facilitate and attend monthly IRB Meetings including agenda prep, pre and post meeting tasks.
  • Participate in the IRB Meeting follow-up including communication of IRB determinations to sites/investigators.
  • Draft written communications to study teams regarding board determinations, drafts memorandums to sites addressing pertinent information.
  • Performs expedited reviews as delegated by the IRB Chair. Identify and resolve red flag situations.
  • Assist with quality management of IRB operations through regular assessments of IRB processes and procedures.
  • Assist with facilitating training and educations program.
  • Assist, as needed, with quality and compliance audits.

Education Required

High School Diploma/GED

Education Preferred

Associate's Degree


  • 3-5 Years Human Subjects Research Experience Required
  • 3-5 Years Experience with Federal Regulations and their application regarding Human Subjects Research Required

License and Certification

  • Certified IRB Professional (CIP) Preferred
