Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center (BMDACC) is actively seeking a Senior Medical Physicist to join our dynamic and rapidly growing team. Individuals with a defined focus of radiation oncology, to include HDR brachytherapy are sought to enhance our program. You will be working with our Chief Physicist to support overall operation of physics and dosimetry; oversee and perform treatment plans/calculations for all treatment modalities and perform/maintain quality assurance for the department. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years clinical experience, board certified, have a PhD or MS, and possess excellent communication and writing skills. Experience in planning with Eclipse, iPlan/Elements, and VariSeed, as well as record and verify systems in both Aria and Mosaiq a plus. Current treatment delivery systems include TrueBeams, Novalis, and GammaMed HDR (intracavitary and interstitial) with a wide range of therapy treatments including VMAT, IGRT, SRS/SBRT, TBI, AVM, HDR, and LDR. Other systems supported are VisionRT, Velocity and physics QA systems/tools are SunNuclear AtlasQA/Routine, SRS mapCheck, IC profiler, RadCalc, and IBA 3D water tank. Shift details: Hours will vary, as will the days. Some evenings and weekends will be required depending on department needs.
