We are looking for a Surgical Technologist to join our Surgical Services team to support the GE Bronchoscopy Team at Baptist Medical Center Clay. This Surgical Technologist position is a full time evenings position that does require call. This Surgical Technologist position prefers 1-2 years of experience but is not required.

As a Surgical Technologist, your responsibilities include:

• Assembling, organizing and maintaining a sterile field for operative procedures.
• Anticipates the needs of the surgeon and progression of the case and prepare accordingly.
• Proper disposition of specimens and instruments.
• Works with entire surgical team to minimize anesthesia time and promote patient safety.
• Performs in first assist role in a variety of surgical procedures.
• Functions as a support to related departments within Surgical Services as needed. 

This Surgical Technologist position for the Endoscopy Unit will be located at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville Clay.
