Surgical Technologist, Operating Room, PRN, Baptist Beaches

Job Summary

We are looking for a Surgical Technologist to support the Surgical Services Team at Baptist Medical Center Beaches, located in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. This Surgical Technologist position is a PRN position.

As a Surgical Technologist for the OR, your responsibilities include:

• Understand principles of sterilization
• Wrap instruments/linen properly, while selecting correct supplies to be used for sterilization
• Able to prioritize duties
• Knowledge of sterilization equipment and processes they perform
• Able to decontaminate surgical instrumentation and re-assemble into trays
