May 16, 2013
Baptist Heart Specialists are the first physician practice to move into the new medical offices on the Baptist Clay Medical Campus. Cardiologists Praveen Kanaparti, MD; David Stroh, DO; and Simone Nader, MD started seeing patients this month at the new location.
This marks the tenth office for Baptist Heart Specialists, a team of 28 board-certified cardiologists specializing in preventing, diagnosing and treating cardiovascular disease.
“Baptist Clay Medical Campus is designed to be a one-stop health care destination,” said Ron Robinson, Baptist South Hospital President and administrative leader for the new medical campus in Clay. “Our new medical office building allows us to bring the quality heart care of Baptist Heart Specialists closer to home for Clay County residents.”
Cardiac testing available in the Baptist Clay Medical Offices includes cardiac ultrasounds and echocardiograms; nuclear cardiac stress tests; treadmill stress tests; 24-hour holter monitoring and various vascular ultrasound examinations.
The 32-acre campus on U.S. 17 and Village Square Parkway in Fleming Island includes Baptist/Wolfson Children’s Emergency Center, a 24-hour emergency center for adults and children with 16 treatment rooms and separate waiting and treatment areas for children. Baptist Diagnostics & Imaging also provides laboratory services and digital imaging for children and adults, including X-ray, CT, MRI, and Ultrasound, as well as Mammography and Bone Density.
More physicians’ offices will be opening in the three-story Baptist Clay Medical Offices over the next several months.
