Baptist Medical Center South Appoints Christopher F. Emans to Board of Directors

Baptist Medical Center South is pleased to announce that Christopher F. Emans has joined Baptist South’s board of directors.
Mr. Emans is chief financial officer of US Assure, Inc., and is also a member of their board of directors. US Assure serves the property and casualty insurance industry in the United States and Canada as a program administrator and services provider.
As US Assure’s chief financial officer since 1985, Mr. Emans is responsible for the the company’s financial and business development strategies and accounting operations, and has played a key role in the company’s dramatic growth. Mr. Emans has extensive knowledge in taxation, estate planning, trust management, risk management, contracts and litigation.
Mr. Emans graduated from the West London Institute of Higher Education. He currently serves on the board of directors and Finance Committee of Community Hospice of Northeast Florida and Deerwood Rotary Club. Previously, he served on the boards of Cerebral Palsy of Jacksonville and The Help Center. He and his wife, Teri, have two adult children.
