Job Summary

Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a APRN Fellow in Inpatient Behavioral Health at Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville Florida. This is a Full-time day's opportunity with some telecommute available.

As an APRN fellow, you will be responsible for: 

  • The APRN fellow provides psychiatric care to patients on the inpatient unit, in the ED, and on medical floors, under the supervision of the Medical Director or designee.
  • The APRN Fellow's duties include providing psychiatric services across all inpatient hospital settings.
  • Meets performance and medical documentation standards based on hospital system policy, established profession-wide competencies, and APRN training guidelines.
  • Engages in scholarly, continuing education, and clinical supervision activities.

Education Required

Master's Degree - Nursing

Education Preferred

Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)

Experience

  • 2+ years’ experience as a PMNNP required

License and Certification

  • Certified Nurse Practitioner
  • Licensed Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner
  • Licensed as an Autonomous Practice APRN in the State of Florida
