Consult Liaison Psychiatrist 

 

Northeast Florida’s leader in comprehensive behavioral healthcare is seeking a consult Liaison psychiatrist to join our dynamic and distinguished multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate for this unique and exciting opportunity will provide diagnostic and treatment services in a multidisciplinary, state-of-the-art inpatient behavioral health facility featuring 34 beds overlooking the St. Johns River on the campus of Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville. The multidisciplinary team at Baptist Health is proud to offer the region’s only mental health resource of its kind and includes psychiatrists, psychiatric nurses, recreational therapists, social workers and mental health technicians collaborating to provide the highest quality of behavioral health care. The inpatient adult psychiatry team is expanding to include behavioral health support at Baptist’s three outlying hospitals and the three free standing emergency rooms as well as growing the ECT program.

Qualifications

  • Board certified or board eligible MD or DO in psychiatry
  • In possession of or able to obtain an active, unrestricted Florida license
  • In possession of or able to obtain DEA licensure
  • Eligible to be credentialed with major insurance panels
