The award winning Stroke and Cerebrovascular Center at Baptist Health in Jacksonville, Florida is actively recruiting for a Full-Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the renowned multidisciplinary team. In collaboration with physicians who are among the nation's most highly regarded cerebrovascular neurosurgeons, this individual will provide evidence based specialty care including assessment, treatment and education. This position includes OR first assist responsibilities. Call will be required.

The Stroke & Cerebrovascular Center at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville features the state of Florida's only Neurologic Emergency Medicine Center focused on emergency care for stroke and other Neurologic emergencies and is the regional epicenter for advanced diagnostics and treatments for all cerebrovascular conditions in adults and children. The Center features four floors (in the newest patient care tower) that are solely dedicated to the care of neurologic patients including: a neurosurgical operative suite with both intraoperative MRI and CT capabilities, a neuro-interventional lab, a dedicated 24 bed Neuro ICU, and 48 nursing care beds for stroke and other medical and surgical neurological conditions.


  • Master of Science
  • Graduate of an ARNP or PA accredited program
  • Experience in cerebrovascular disease and stroke preferred
  • Certified Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Licensed Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
