Job Summary

Located in one of the nation’s most sought after coastal destinations, Northeast Florida’s largest and most distinguished name in surgical care is actively seeking an Acute Care Surgeon/Surgicalist to join the private practice team at North Florida Surgeons, Baptist South Division.

What You Can Expect as a General Surgicalist

  • Start date: August 2024.
  • Hours are Monday – Monday (26 weeks/year) 7:00 – 5:00.  Rare night call.  Rotating holidays. 
  • 7 Days on/7 Days off Model
  • 26 weeks per year

What You will do

  • Operate at Baptist Medical Center South.
  • Consult in the hospital and emergency room, then follow up with surgical care. 
  • Work with two dedicated physician assistants who round, consult, and scrub cases.
  • Manage high volume of acute surgical cases within an operating room with robotic capability.
