Who We Are - Baptist Primary Care
For more than 25 years, the Baptist Health leadership and governing bodies have focused on a collaborative relationship with physicians in our community for the benefit of patients.
Baptist Primary Care had its foundation as an employed physician group that started in 1985. We have gradually expanded and now have over 60 primary care offices, 160+ physicians, and 55+ APPs. The close relationship with Baptist Health has allowed for a higher degree of collaboration in managed care contracting and integration through the support of Baptist Physician Partners.
Our group includes Endocrinology, Rheumatology, and Infectious Disease subspecialties and the core group of Family Practice, General Internal Medicine, and Pediatrics. Physicians with our group will support specialty physicians such as Orthopedics, Cardiology, Baptist MD Anderson, Neurosurgery, Neurology, Behavioral Health, and ENT.
In keeping with our mission and core values, Baptist is requiring that all team members complete their COVID-19 vaccine series or obtain a medical or religious exemption by 11/15/2021 or at time of hire after this date.

There’s a place for you here – Clay County
Clay County is a paradise for those that enjoy being outdoors. Fleming Island, while not truly an island, is most definitely surrounded by water. Locals are usually playing on one of its rivers or lakes or taking in the beautiful nature trails that wind their way through the area. These natural amenities offer joggers, bird watchers, cyclists, and anglers a welcome rest from city life. Many residents are also drawn to the area’s cultural recreation options. The Orange Park Thrasher-Horne Center for the Arts presents plays, concerts, and visual arts performances. Clay County offers that “small town” feel while being just a hop, skip and jump away from the eclectic shops and lively beaches of greater Jacksonville. There’s a place for you her
