Today, David Garrard and his wife presented a Thankgiving gift basket to Kenia, a single mom with breast cancer (and one of our patients at Baptist Beaches). She was at work and he surprised her! The Garrards are doing this as part of an 8-wk program called Lighting the Way for Single Mothers w/Breast Cancer to honor his mother, who died of the disease when he was a teen.
