From the Doctor:
I grew up in Tallahassee, but am no stranger to Jacksonville. Before I decided to practice medicine, I lived in Jacksonville as an AmeriCorps member, volunteering at a variety of community outreach sites and healthcare organizations. It was in this role that I developed a love of community medicine and patient-centered medicine. I continued to harness that love by organizing and participating in international medical mission trips while attending University of Florida for medical school.
I chose to specialize in family medicine so that I can continue to enjoy these aspects of medicine. As a family physician, I can work with patients on their health and work within the community to make a difference.
In my personal time, I like to travel and love to be outside. Some of my favorite outdoor activities are hiking, gardening, and kayaking.
