From the Doctor:
I have had the honor to spend ten years as a Navy Family Physician, taking care of active duty service members and their families in wonderful places as far away as Italy and as close as Mayport, FL. In the truest model of family medicine, I was lucky enough to be able to follow patients through pregnancies, deliver babies and then be involved in their lives in the following years. It is this continuity of care, this immersion into a family and its dynamics, which makes the practice of family medicine so unique and so wonderful.
I chose family medicine to be more family and community-oriented in practice. As a result, I feel a more satisfied balance between my personal and professional life. My philosophy of care is to treat the patient across the entire frame of a lifetime, among the interpersonal relationships, and in the midst of a variety of settings through comprehensive medical care and preventive medicine.
I grew up in Jacksonville, graduating from Stanton College Preparatory School. My husband, also born and raised in Jacksonville, attended Fletcher High School. We have two young sons who are the center of our world. We are parishioners of Holy Family Catholic Church and in my spare time, I am active with my sons’ activities/sports, and I am passionate about staying fit and exercising.
