From the Doctor:
I believe in being proactive with one's health, rather than being reactive. We have many tools available for preventing and managing diseases in modern medicine. While I base my medical practice on well-understood standards of care, I am also open to holistic and alternative approaches to help my patients achieve optimum health. Forming close therapeutic relationships with patients is also a key element of my medical practice.
My husband and I moved to Jacksonville more than 10 years ago. Today we share in the adventures of raising two wonderful daughters and practicing medicine together. My family and I enjoy cycling, going to the beach and travelling together. Like many other moms, I work part-time in order to spend more time with my children. I am always available for my patient’s health concerns, even on days I may not officially be in the office.
I am involved with various charities in the community, including United Way and Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
