From the Doctor:
I am a Jacksonville native and enjoy caring for patients in my local community. I graduated from Stanton College Preparatory School and attended the University of Florida before joining the United States Navy. I proudly served as a Navy physician for 14 years, taking care of military members and their families both on land and at sea, both locally and abroad. My husband is an Indiana native who was happy to relocate to Florida and is currently an active duty Navy physician. We enjoy leading active lives and are passionate about fitness, exploring local restaurants, and enjoying the great outdoors.
I enjoy the diversity of family medicine and the unique opportunity it provides for continuity of care with my patients and their families. My philosophy of care is centered on preventive health and wellness. I get the greatest amount of satisfaction helping patients to be invested in their own well-being so that we as a team can navigate a road to optimum health. I have additional training in medical and pain management acupuncture and enjoy incorporating integrative medicine techniques into my practice to complement my whole person approach to care.
