From the Doctor:
I was born in Nigeria and grew up in Savannah, Georgia. The southeast has always been my home away from home. We enjoy spending time with our family and friends.
My philosophy of care is to treat each patient as if he or she were a member of my own family. There are many factors that contribute to the overall health of an individual including social support, health care costs, and health care access. Empowering patients to take control of their health is also important. Most of all, I believe medical care should be patient-centered.
Outside of my clinical duties, I enjoy spending time with family. I love to travel and experience different cultures. I believe in volunteering and giving back.
