I am primarily a family person. My wife and daughters are my main priority. I bring this family-first approach to work with me every day. It is essential that each child and family I interact with feel that they are being treated as if we were family.
I learned very early on in my career that nobody knows a child better than the parents. I will always pay close attention to what they are saying and seek their input for how best to provide care for their child.
In 2005, my wife Hilda Ettedgui and I started a foundation called Patrons of the Hearts, which provides charity care to children with congenital heart disease from countries where they do not have access to this specialized care. I am passionate about providing every child with the opportunity to achieve her/his maximum potential.
