About Me
I decided on a career in psychology when I was in high school and was drawn to mental health because of the resilience of people. I became a psychologist because psychology and psychotherapy are about an internal exploration of self. There is nothing quite like the feeling of exploration and the natural joy of discovery.
My husband, who is also a psychologist, and I recently moved to Jacksonville from St. Petersburg to take advantages of all that North Florida has to offer. My husband is a golfer and I’m an avid outdoor enthusiast who enjoys nature photography, kayaking and walking our two dogs.
We support a number of human service nonprofits that nurture body, mind and spirit of those in need of help.
