Central Pharmacy Supervisor, Baptist Downtown

Job Summary

Baptist Medical Center is currently looking to add a Central Pharmacy Supervisor to our Pharmacy at Baptist Medical Center. This is a full time, mainly day-shift opportunity located in Jacksonville, FL.

As a Central Pharmacy Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

• Performing routine pharmacist functions.

• Responsible for all aspects of Central Pharmacy Technician personnel management.

• Supervising Central Pharmacy Technicians, including those working in the OR, day shift, and night shift.

• Providing direct oversight of lead technicians, including guidance on scheduling, workload, and coverage.

• Conducting all employee evaluations, managing progressive discipline, and promoting team development.

• Managing Central Pharmacy operations, including controlled substance ordering, pulling medication error reports for central technicians, and contributing to project management initiatives as directed by leadership.

• Supporting Central Pharmacy distribution, including but not limited to controlled substance program management, USP 795 compliance, quality improvement initiatives, and resource utilization.
