Kyle Dorsey (Baptist) Biography and Information
Kyle Dorsey joined Baptist Medical Center South in 2014 as the Assistant Administrator of Clinical and Support Services. In October 2017, he was named Vice President of Operations for the Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville and Wolfson Children’s Hospital campus. In this role, Dorsey is a member of Baptist’s leadership team, and oversees the Emergency Management, Environmental Services, Food and Nutrition Services, Imaging, Laboratory, Parking, Pharmacy, Rehabilitation, Security, and Sleep Services. In addition, Dorsey is responsible for the Baptist Health system’s Orthopedic Services.
Prior to joining Baptist Health, Dorsey was a Health System Administrator for Duke University Health System. Dorsey has a Master in Health Administration from the College of Public Health and a Bachelor of Science from the School of Allied Medical Professions, both at The Ohio State University.
Dorsey is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and a member of the Board of Directors at PACE Center for Girls Jacksonville. He has received numerous health care awards, including being named to the 2019 list of “Rising Stars under 40” by Becker’s Hospital Review, the 2012 ACHE Regent Award for Early Careerists, the 2010 Young Alumnus Service Award from Ohio State University, and the 2007 Award of Merit from the School of Allied Health Professionals.
