Our trained pediatric chaplains are available 24 hours a day for spiritual support. Chaplains are assigned to all hospital units and respond to emergencies and requests in addition to making routine rounds on each unit. Our Godly Play children’s program (facilitated by our Religious Educator), presents interactive spiritual growth opportunities at the bedside and in periodic group activities.
A hospital-wide non-denominational prayer service is held at noon on Wednesday and Sunday in the BMC-Jacksonville Reid Chapel, located on the first floor of the Adult Tower. A hospital-wide Catholic Mass is celebrated at noon every Thursday in the Reid Chapel.
The Children’s Chapel is always open for prayer and meditation and is located on the 4th floor of Wolfson Children’s Hospital at the visitor elevator entrance.
The Chaplain’s Office is located on the third floor of the Howard Building, Suite 308. Please call our Spiritual Care office at 202-2828 or ask your child’s nurse to request a visit if desired.
