VIDEO: 10 Years of Innovation
Our journey to improve stroke care for the Northeast Florida community, and beyond.
Every minute the brain is oxygen deprived, brain cells can become irreversibly damaged. Time is what makes a difference between life and death, between recovery and lifelong disability.
For 10 years, Baptist Stroke & Cerebrovascular Center has been on the forefront of innovative treatments proven to expand the window of time to stop or even reverse the effects of a stroke. All we ask is that you call 911 immediately if you or a loved one experience signs or symptoms of a stroke!

This benefits the greater Jacksonville community as well as helping smaller hospitals or rural areas have timely access to stroke expertise 24/7, which allows for quicker diagnosis and treatment, reduces disability and saves lives.
Accredited & Recognized
Baptist Stroke & Cerebrovascular Center is the ONLY Joint Commission certified Comprehensive Stroke Center in the region, delivering the highest level of care for stroke patients.
A stroke is a brain attack. It requires immediate action. If stroke is suspected, call 911 immediately. Do not wait and see what happens or try to “sleep it off.” The faster you seek care, the better your chances for treatment and recovery.
Similar to a heart attack, stroke symptoms may not always be classic symptoms such as face drooping, arm or leg weakness or slurred speech. The first sign may be a sudden loss of balance or coordination, blurred vision or sudden loss of vision.
Our internationally recognized neurosurgeons offer more advanced treatment options for strokes, brain aneurysms and other cerebrovascular conditions than any other providers in the area. Our groundbreaking, minimally invasive procedures include flow diverter technology, stenting and coiling, and more traditional methods, such as clipping and bypasses.
