Inpatient Care

For adults, children and adolescents requiring hospital-based care, Baptist Health provides a full range of inpatient services at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville and Wolfson Children’s Hospital. Our 34-bed adult inpatient behavioral health facility has views overlooking the St. Johns River and is designed with light-filled spaces that include peaceful river-themed artwork. Our children’s inpatient unit is re-opening in Fall 2012 in a brand new treatment center with cheerful surroundings. While comfortable with a homelike feel, both facilities offer state-of-the-art features that meet the therapeutic needs of our patients. Our multidisciplinary team includes psychiatrists, psychiatric nurses, recreational therapists, social workers and mental health technicians. Baptist Health is proud to offer the area's only mental health resource of its kind for adults and children.
