Baptist Health is proud to offer the area's only mental health resource of its kind. For adults, children and adolescents requiring hospital-based care, Baptist Health provides a full range of inpatient services.

Baptist Behavioral Health

Our adult inpatient behavioral health facility has views overlooking the St. Johns River and is designed with light-filled spaces that include peaceful river-themed artwork.

Our children’s inpatient unit at Wolfson Children’s Hospital is designed with children and teens in mind. While comfortable with a homelike feel, both facilities offer state-of-the-art features that meet the therapeutic needs of our patients.

Our multidisciplinary team includes psychiatrists, psychiatric nurses, recreational therapists, social workers and mental health technicians.

Adult Services

Emergency Center Evaluations

When someone arrives at our emergency center with a crisis, our registered nurses and master’s-prepared clinicians perform level of care assessments to determine the appropriate psychiatric treatment.

Adult Inpatient Unit

This dedicated, riverfront unit specializes in stabilizing patients who are experiencing depression, severe anxiety, addiction and other forms of psychiatric distress. We offer a highly specialized, welcoming and comfortable environment that treats every patient with respect, helping them to heal and grow.

Child and Adolescent Services

Child & Adolescent Psychiatric Inpatient Unit

This unit specializes in the care of children and adolescents who are experiencing acute emotional problems that disrupt their ability to function in life. Separate care environments are provided for children (ages 6-11) and adolescents (ages 12-17).
