Our multidisciplinary team at Baptist Health offers unmatched care for mothers and babies and we are uniquely qualified to handle high-risk deliveries. Special attention is given to meeting your expectations of the birthing experience and providing personalized family-centered care in a homelike environment.
Baptist Health offers a complimentary tour of our maternity suites for expectant parents delivering at our Jacksonville, South or Beaches locations. Each person attending the tour must pre-register below. Children 6 and older are welcome. The tour includes the option to pre-register for your hospital stay. If you would like to pre-register, please bring your insurance card with you.

We offer diagnostic testing, fetal assessment, monitoring, perinatal care, prenatal counseling and postnatal care planning. Wolfson Children’s Hospital, our pediatric hospital serving North Florida and South Georgia, offers a Level III Newborn Intensive Care Unit, with a wide range of specialists and advanced technologies ready to support your baby’s care. Our expert team at Wolfson Children’s also operates a Level II NICU at Baptist Medical Center South.
Kids Kare Transport
Babies born prematurely at any hospital in our region can be transferred to our NICUs by ground ambulance, our Kids Kare pediatric ambulances, or our Life Flight air ambulance service, specially equipped for newborn care.
Children have unique needs during every stage from infancy to adolescence. Our pediatricians and family physicians will partner with you to support your baby’s growth and development.
THE PLAYERS Center for Child Health, which opened in October 2011, was created to improve the health, wellness and quality of life of the families living within the communities we serve. In addition to promoting health and safety, THE PLAYERS Center for Child Health also represents the interests of medically underserved children at the local, state and national government levels.
