Job Summary

Baptist Health is looking to add a Coding & Documentation Education Coordinator to our Physician Services Compliance Team. This is a Full-Time Days opportunity working a shift of Monday through Friday from 8a-5p with flexibility. This Coding and Documentation Coordinator will work in our Behavioral Health space and will directly communicate with providers.  This Coding and Documentation Coordinator will manage and monitor the daily activities of the physician compliance education program as well as audit trends to develop professional education and training materials that can improve overall compliance and documentation practices. 

As a Coding & Documentation Education Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing  and monitoring the daily activities of the Physician Compliance education program.
  • Analyzing audit trends to develop professional education and training materials that improve overall compliance and documentation practices.

Education Required

High School Diploma/GED

Education Preferred

Bachelor's Degree

Experience

  • 3-5 Years Auditing Experience Required
  • 3-5 Years Compliance Experience Required
  • 3-5 Years Training Experience Required
  • 3-5 Years Education Experience Required
  • 3-5 Years Knowledge base in ICD-10 and CPT4/HCPCS
  • EMR (EPIC) Implementation Experience Preferred

License and Certification

  • Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) Required Or
  • Certified Coding Specialists - Physician-based (CCS-P) Required Or
  • Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) Required Or
  • Certified Procedural Coder (CPC) Required Or
  • Certified Documentation Improvement Professional, (CDIP) Required Or
