Job Summary

Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Cook to our Dietary Department at Baptist Clay in Fleming Island, FL. This is a Full-Time opportunity primarily working day shifts with rotating weekends. The ideal candidate will have experience as a line cook or grill cook. ServSafe certification is a plus.

As a Cook I, you will be responsible for:

  • Measuring, mixing, portioning and cooking according to provided recipes and production charts for patients, guests, and staff.
  • Working clean, safe, and sanitary in accordance with department policies
  • Filling out all logs, production charts, cleaning schedules, etc assigned by management in accordance with department policies and procedures
  • Providing excellent customer service to our guests, patients, and staff
  • Working in a fast-paced environment
  • Taking ownership of their area -- this position will be responsible for prepping, cooking, and engaging with customers

Baptist Clay Medical Campus is located on 32 acres at U.S. 17 and Village Square Parkway on Fleming Island.  The facility opened in May 2013 to bring the high-quality care of Wolfson Children’s Hospital and Baptist Health to residents of Clay County.
