Job Summary

Baptist Health is looking to add an Epic OnBase System Administrator,  Jacksonville, FL

The Epic System Administrator will collaborate with our Epic HIM analyst team to optimize, stabilize, and update our Onbase processes and also contribute to relevant changes. Their responsibilities will include managing incident tickets, handling new change requests, overseeing upgrades, and participating in project work on a daily and weekly basis."

The Epic OnBase System Administer will work to address Onbase and Epic processes and serve as the subject matter expert for IT ticket resolution. In coordination with education, analytics, HIM, designs and develops tools, tips sheets, reports, dashboards, and other deliverables to facilitate timely resolution of Onbase and Epic.


• Onbase System Administrator Certification Preferred
• Epic Bridges Certification preferred or any other Epic Certification preferred

 

The Epic OnBase System Administrator will be responsible for:

  • Plans, analyzes, designs, implements, tests and maintains Rev Cycle EHR software applications. Interfaces with user departments to anticipate and resolve problems, develops and modifies procedures to solve data processing problems and prepares detailed specifications from which programs are written.
  • Coordinates implementation, analysis and testing, maintenance and upgrades, application design, and debugging of complex workflows with multiple modules.
  • Utilize deep understanding of the technical components of all modules to maintain system integrity.
  • Requires working knowledge and experience in own job discipline. Works to broaden own capabilities by continuing to build knowledge of the organization, processes and customers.
  • Performs a range of assignments using guidelines or policies.
  • Analyzes and solves straightforward problems as they occur but typically requires guidance on complex or unusual problems. Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction from more experienced team members.
