Job Summary

Baptist Health is hiring a Executive Director, Laboratory to join the Laboratory Administrative team. This is a full-time, in-person opportunity located on the downtown Jacksonville campus.  

The Executive System Laboratory Director provides direction for meeting the goals, objectives, policies and procedures for the laboratory, which is to be managed and operated within the framework of the mission, vision, and values of Baptist Health System. The role is responsible for driving business plan and strategy for growth of lab services, develop concepts for new and improved services, programs, policies, as well as consult on improving programs and services to integrate the laboratories within the overall organization. Additional responsibilities include managing performance and measurable quality outcomes of direct reports and develop external strategies for achieving organizational goals.

• Over 5 years Progressive Hospital Laboratory Management Experience Required

License and Certification

• Certified Six Sigma - Yellow Belt Required

• Certified Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) Preferred
• Licensed Laboratory Supervisor Required
