Baptist Medical Center is hiring a Medical Assistant II for the AgeWell Department in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a full-time opportunity that will work a Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm schedule at our AgeWell Nocatee campus.
The AgeWell Department is seeking a Medical Assistant II to support their team. AgeWell services patients 65+ and is growing rapidly at Baptist! The Medical Assistant II will cross train as a front office staff to support them as needed. This position requires a candidate to have their CMA license as well as strong communication skills, interpersonal skills and flexibility.

Medical Assistant II, Baptist AgeWell Department, Job Responsibilities:
- Provides nursing assistance to physician.
- Obtains vital signs.
- Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit.
- Responsible for telephone triage and patient education.
- Maintains medical documentation.
- Schedules care, treatment, and diagnostic tests, per physician.
- Processes CLIA waived tests, prescription requests, and referrals.
- Cross trains in front office, referrals area, and other areas.

Experience
- Over 5 Years Patient Care Experience
- Experience in Physician's Office
- Phlebotomy Experience Preferred

- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
