Job Summary

Baptist Medical Center is hiring a Mental Health Therapist to join our TEAM. This is an EAP position specifically for pediatrics working with ages 4yr to 17yr. This is a Full-Time Day shift opportunity

*Florida LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT required*

As a Mental Health Therapist, your responsibilities will include: 

  • Conducting intake and assessment
  • Assigning diagnoses and develop treatment plan for patients referred for mental health services.
  • Providing treatment that is clinically necessary and evidence-based.
  • Completing authorization requests as needed and maintain up-to-date medical records.
  • Maintaining state professional licensure and credentialing with insurance panels.
  • Ability to develop rapport with patients
  • Assessing and diagnose patients using DSM criteria
  • Developing a treatment plan
  • Documenting treatment progress in keeping with Joint Commission standards
  • Efficient use of EMR
