Job Summary

Baptist Health is currently seeking a Home Infusion Pharmacist to join our team at Baptist Infusion Therapy! This is a PRN opportunity! This candidate will also have occasional weekend on-call availability approximately every 6 weeks. As a PRN Pharmacist in our infusion setting, you'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Your primary responsibilities will include compounding and dispensing medications, providing clinical consultations, and maintaining accurate patient records. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Your responsibilities as a PRN Pharmacist are but not limited to: 

  • Performing the duties of a Pharmacist in an Infusion Therapy setting.
  • Responsible for pharmacy compounding and dispensing IV drugs and medications and maintaining JCAHO compliance.
  • Filling prescriptions for customers and providing drug information counseling to patients and physicians.
  • Working in conjunction with the IV Pharmacy Manager for certain administrative functions.
