Job Summary

Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Radiology Technologist to our Radiology Department at our Baptist Beaches facility in Jacksonville Beach, FL. The primary responsibility of our Radiology Technologist is to ensure physicians and other members of a patient’s care team receive high-quality images they can use to make diagnoses or assess the success of treatments. This is a PRN, various shifts opportunity.

This Radiology Technologist will be responsible for:  

• Performs general diagnostic, operative, and emergency room procedures at a level not requiring constant supervision.
• Reports to Lead Technologist on shift.
• Promotes good will amongst co-workers and with other departments, and has a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients.
• Identifies, prepares, administers, and documents medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner in accordance with state, and federal regulations or Lawful institutional policy.

Associate's Degree

Experience

• None Customer Service Experience
• None Radiology/Imaging Experience
• None Experience working in a hospital setting

License and Certification

• Registered Technologist in Radiography ARRT (R) Required
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Required
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist Required
