Elizabeth Gunn, MSN, RN, is vice president of Patient Services for Baptist Medical Center South. Previously, she was with Southeast Georgia Health System, where she served as vice president of Patient Services. In this position, Gunn oversaw nursing practice for the entire health system, including its two hospitals in Brunswick and St. Marys, Ga.

Gunn has more than 26 years of health care experience. She has also worked at Florida Hospital Orlando, where she was director of the Emergency Department and the Emergency Psychiatric Clinical Decision Unit, as well as in a variety of nursing leadership positions at hospitals in Georgia, Oklahoma, Texas and Kansas. She earned her Master of Science degree in Nursing Administration and her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Texas at El Paso.

Gunn is a member of the Emergency Nurses Association, the American Association of Critical Care Nurses, Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society for Nurses, the Association of Nurse Executives and the American College of Healthcare Executives.
